Apple Rehab West Haven, a 90-bed facility in West Haven, CT, is seeking a per diem LPN Charge Nurse to join our compassionate, family-oriented team. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and overseeing nursing care, documenting accurately, and administering prescribed medications in accordance with policies.

Starting pay ranges from $30 to $37 per hour, depending on licensure and experience, with available half-day shifts and a supportive work environment focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a licensed nurse).
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plains, executes, and oversees nursing services for assigned residents.
• Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
