As a veterinary nurse in Massachusetts, you will triage, assess patients, record vitals, and assist doctors with diagnostics and treatments while maintaining compassionate care for every animal.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts veterinary license is required.
• Experience in veterinary care is preferred.

What you’ll do

• Triaging
• Knowledge and ability to recognize medical emergencies and illnesses
• Assessing patients
• Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor
• Basic husbandry and nursing care
• Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate careTaking blood
• Placing catheters
• Assisting in and facilitating radiography capture
• Preparing samples for outside reference labs
• Running in-house labs
• Preparing medications
• Administering medications
• Additional responsibilities to maintain a hospitable environment
