UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Social Worker - Per Diem in Kentucky. Provide medical social services under physician direction to support patients and families, addressing social and emotional factors impacting health.

Must have MSW and licensed social worker status; CPR preferred; 1+ year healthcare social work experience desirable. Per diem status with competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits eligibility, and a supportive team within the Caretenders/LHC Group network under Optum family.

Formación

• Master's Degree from a school of Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Licensed Social Worker in the state of residence (additional state requirement)
• CPR certification preferred or within 90 days of hire
• 1+ years of social work experience in a health care setting (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical social services under the direction of a physician and interdisciplinary group
• Assist in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health status
• Develop coping mechanisms for patients and families
