Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Interventional Radiologist to provide expert imaging-guided procedures and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires MD or DO with board certification, residency completion, and unrestricted medical license plus active DEA. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, perform procedures, document care, and participate in CME activities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice medicine.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Unrestricted DEA number and hospital privileges.
• State medical licensure and hospital credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient evaluations and develops treatment plans.
• Prescribes medications, orders imaging and laboratory tests.
• Performs interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborates with nurses, pharmacists and specialists.
• Documents medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participates in committees and continuing medical education.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Residency completion

Fellowship completion (if appropriate)

Licensure to practice medicine

Board certification in relevant medical specialty

Hospital credentials

Unrestricted DEA number

Area of practice certificates (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS)
