Southwoods Health is seeking a Per Diem Unit Secretary for our Inpatient Unit at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods. In this role, you will support physicians and clinical staff while ensuring the needs of patients and guests are handled quickly and appropriately.

You will coordinate unit workflows, assist with admissions, process registrations, scan test results into the EMR, log charges, and maintain patient charts.

• Communicate relevant clinical details to appropriate team members.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls appropriately.
• Organize and maintain patient charts per protocol.
• Address patient and guest needs with staff.
• Maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, ODH, BOP, TJC).
