Job summary

Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital is seeking experienced per diem Physical Therapists to join our inpatient team. You will provide high-quality PT care, oversee other therapists, and contribute to program development across our Lowell General Hospital campuses.

You will evaluate and treat patients of various ages, document care, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes while supporting department operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an approved program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist with current PT license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eight years of PT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and mentors staff within the PT discipline.
• Assists Director/Manager with scheduling and staffing issues.
• Evaluates and treats diverse diagnoses across age groups to maximize function.
• Documents all patient care accurately for reimbursement and compliance.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient operations.
• Leads in CQI activities and prepares for Joint Commission surveys.
