Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join our team on a per diem, part-time basis. The pharmacist will dispense medications, interpret IV orders, and support daily hospital operations with safe pharmaceutical care for patients and staff.

Applicants should have WA pharmacist licensure, a preferred ASHP-accredited residency, and at least one year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders.
• Prepare primary IV solutions and nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations as needed.
• Supervise support personnel and perform final checks on completed work.
• Inspect pharmaceutical supplies across services to ensure quality and safety.
• Provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care to patients, nursing staff, and physicians.
