Accelerate Therapy and Performance is seeking a Per Diem Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team in Dwight, IL. You will provide in-person injury prevention services for a grocery store warehousing client, with consistent weekend hours and coverage during vacations or sick days.

The role supports licensed clinicians and fitness professionals, offering autonomy, professional development, and collaborative care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ATC with active state license and bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• PTA with an associate degree or OTA with an associate degree.
• CSCS with bachelor’s degree and certification is acceptable.
• Exercise Physiologist with bachelor’s degree and appropriate certification.
• Exercise Science/Kinesiology background is eligible.
• Personal Trainer with degree and certification may apply.

Per Diem Injury Prevention Specialist in the Industrial Setting

Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Type: Per Diem - Support includes filling in during vacations, sick days and 1 scheduled weekend day per month (up to 8-hour shift)

Work Location: In person - Dwight, IL

• Engage and educate industrial athletes in proactive injury prevention strategies
• Promote a culture of collaboration and wellness
• Deliver high-quality, individualized care using proven protocols
• Efficiently manage time and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
• Build rapport and foster trust among team members and clients

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications and hold an active CPR/AED/First Aid certification:

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with an active state license and bachelor's degree
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with associate's degree
• Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) with associate's degree
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with bachelor's degree
• Exercise Physiologist with a bachelor's degree and certification from a reputable organization
• Exercise Science/Kinesiology
• Personal Trainer with a bachelor's degree in exercise science/kinesiology or related field and a reputable certification

Additional Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of customer service experience
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Experience working with orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions
• Confident, professional, and self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills and rapport-building ability
