Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking a Per Diem RN - Infusion Nurse in Greenlawn, NY, working with Mount Sinai Health System to deliver specialized hematology/oncology infusion care. The role offers flexible per diem scheduling and day shifts, focusing on safe, quality patient care for a defined caseload.

Requirements include a NYS RN license, BLS, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card. BSN preferred or ASN with relevant experience, with emphasis on compassionate, collaborative patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience.
• Current RN License in New York State; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card; BLS from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Provide direct, continuous care for a specific caseload of patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching and discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Participate in performance improvement and nursing quality activities.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Conduct discharge phone calls on selected patients.
• Maintain clinical competence and professional growth.
