Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, invites Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging to join a leading Houston healthcare network.

You will provide direct patient care, ensure safety and comfort, and support imaging teams across multiple specialties. Minimum 8 shifts per month with varied holiday coverage and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• 3+ years RN experience.
• Current and valid RN license.
• CPR, oxygen administration and IV therapy; CRT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Imaging setting.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
• Operate equipment and manage supplies for the target patient population.
• Collaborate with imaging staff to support efficient care.
• Adhere to department policies and shift requirements.

The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. He or she will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

• Minimum 8 shift per month
• 4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to summer holidays and 2 shifts related to winter holidays

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• 3+ years RN experience
• Current and valid RN license
• Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• ACLS
• Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging
• Experience in a medical imaging setting/center
• Windows computer experience, RIS experience
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
