Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in League City, TX seeks a Per Diem RN I to provide direct nursing care in a multi-specialty setting. You will apply clinical skills to ensure patient safety and comfort, and participate in a structured schedule with holiday coverage and travel within the region.

Requirements include an approved RN program, Texas RN license, and BLS; 1+ year RN experience or new grad supervision, CPR/IV therapy skills, and travel ability. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Texas RN license (active/current).
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 1+ year RN experience or supervision for new grads.
• Ability to use equipment for CPR, oxygen administration and IV therapy; CRT experience.
• Able to travel within a region.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred).
• Specialty certification appropriate to area (preferred).
• ACLS (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients and families according to standards.
• Support scheduling: 5 shifts per month, 3 shifts around a clinic holiday, with at least one winter-holiday shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Per Diem RN I is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
• 5 shifts per month, 3 shifts per year the day before or after a clinic holiday, with minimum of 1 shift related to a winter holiday

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
• Valid and current Texas RN license
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• 1+ years of RN work experience or previous experience as a KSC RN and the new grad's hiring department will provide direct supervision for 6 months and participate in the new grad precepting program
• Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience
• Able to travel within a selected region

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in nursing
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows bases computer skills.
• ACLS

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
