The APP conducts exams, orders tests, and participates in the care plan. The position requires a Master’s in PA studies, NJ licensure, and BLS/ACLS with ENLS within 90 days and FCCS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.
• PA certification and NJ licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ENLS within 90 days; FCCS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and document data.
• Order and schedule laboratory tests and consultations.
• Prescribe appropriate interventions and medications.
• Manage ICU consults with attending physicians.
• Oversee ICU patient care to ensure best-practice protocols.
• Participate in risk management education and CME/CEU requirements.
