Job summary

The Grand Healthcare in New York, NY is seeking a Per Diem Housekeeper with experience for a skilled nursing facility. You will maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff, including handling equipment and linens.

Responsibilities include detailed cleaning, safety, and teamwork; must lift up to 50 pounds and meet health department requirements; high school diploma or equivalent required; weekend availability and 7a-3p shifts.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
Solid work ethic with a strong initiative for quality and customer service.
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Floor Tech Experience / Stripping & Waxing Experience a plus!
Must be consistent and adhere to the schedule.
Must be able to work in the United States.
Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

Clean with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are spotless.
Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas of the facility.
Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and common areas.
Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, to ensure hygiene and safety.
