Job summary

The Grand Healthcare System is seeking a Per Diem Housekeeper for a skilled nursing facility in New York. The role ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff, with a pay rate of $24.65 per hour and a requirement to be available for 7a-3p shifts including weekends.

As a Housekeeper, you will maintain cleaning standards across all facility areas, manage waste and linens, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained for safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.

• Solid work ethic with a strong initiative for quality and customer service.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Floor Tech Experience / Stripping & Waxing Experience a plus!
• Must be consistent and adhere to the schedule.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Clean with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are spotless.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas of the facility.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and common areas.
• Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, to ensure hygiene and safety.
