Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Materials/Supply Technician for a hospital in Palm Springs, CA. You will process supply stock requests, conduct inventories, stock medical carts, and ensure accuracy, sterility, and proper handling of supplies.

You will deliver and maintain hospital equipment, use Pyxis and Cerner for counts and charges, and coordinate with vendors. Must have a CA driver's license and hospital supply experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires effective communication with management, coworkers, hospital staff, visitors and vendors.
• Experience in hospital supply distribution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/pickup of specialty beds, rental/hospital owned.
• Pickup of wound vacs, rental/hospital owned.
• Prioritize and multi-task to meet daily goals.
• Provide customer service with coworkers and other department staff.
• Process supply stock requests accurately each day.
• Maintain par levels and stock room organization.
