Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. Under the Director of Pharmacy, you will coordinate department activities to ensure the highest quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety across units including ICU, general medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, and emergency services. We require a current state Pharmacist license; B.S.

in Pharmacy is required and PharmD is preferred. Immunization certification and BLS/ACLS are desired.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.
• Scope of patient care includes General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
