Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare facility, is seeking a hospital pharmacist to supervise and coordinate the pharmacy department, ensuring safe, evidence-based pharmaceutical care for all patients.

The role spans General Medicine/Surgery, ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient services, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current state registered pharmacist license.
• Hospital pharmacy operations experience preferred.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety.
• Care scope includes General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient services.
