UCLA Health seeks a dedicated clinical pharmacist to prepare and dispense various pharmaceuticals for inpatient orders at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Bowyer and CHS Pharmacy. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure safe medication use and deliver direct patient medications in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should hold a Pharm D. and CA license, with ASHP residency preferred and inpatient experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required).
• ASHP-accredited residency (preferred).
• 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
• Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Prepare and dispense pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders within the medical center.
• Collaborate with health care team to prevent misuse of medications.
• Deliver clinical services and dispense medications to patients directly.
