Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist to join CPS, part of the Optum family, and impact patient care with a flexible per diem schedule in a hospital setting. You will review orders, provide medication management, collaborate with the care team, and monitor outcomes while supporting ongoing pharmacy operations.

Requirements include a PharmD, BS Pharmacy, or equivalent, and an active Indiana Pharmacist License.

Qualifications

• PharmD, BS Pharmacy, or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Active Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Behavioral health experience (preferred).
• Experience with automated dispensing cabinets (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication management support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient outcomes and promote medication safety.
• Support pharmacy operations, compliance, and workflow excellence.
