Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency is desirable but not required.
• Current Connecticut Pharmacist License, or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Connecticut.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely, accurate medication order reviews considering patient characteristics.
• Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate competency in pharmacy automation and technology.
