Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Saddle Brook, NJ seeks an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / Housekeeping to keep patient areas clean and safe. Per Diem shifts, 7AM-3PM, include weekdays and weekends, with $19.30/hour plus shift differential.

You will maintain floors, walls, windows, and rooms; report repair needs; stock supplies; and support a welcoming hospital environment for patients and visitors. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.
• Maintain the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues daily.
• Dust mop and wet mop floors; clean metal trim, furnishings, walls, windows, and beds.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors with safety precautions.
• Move furniture as needed; replenish supplies (soap, towels, toilet tissue, etc.).
