Affinity Hospice Care Inc. is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to review OASIS assessments, ensure proper ICD-10 coding, and support our clinical team in a home health environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive communication to protect patient safety and care quality. Per visit compensation ranges from $140 to $150, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• Active Californian RN license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of clinical home health experience.
• Knowledge of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.
• Familiarity with federal regulations and state licensure requirements.
• Strong communication skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer systems and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments for completeness, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on patient condition.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve documentation issues.
• Monitor visit utilization and flag financial risks or underutilization to management.
• Identify trends affecting agency outcomes and process measures.
• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits with the team.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Compliance activities.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
• Perform other duties as needed for patient services.
