Job summary

Del Corazon Hospice in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a PRN Hospice RN to join our compassionate team. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care, work with an interdisciplinary team, and develop individualized care plans.

Requires RN licensure in New Mexico, BCLS, and recent hospice or acute care experience; per diem scheduling offers flexibility. We offer competitive per visit pay, professional growth, supportive environment, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NM RN licensure.
• Experience as RN: one of the following within last two years: acute care, home health, community/public health, or hospice.
• Current BCLS certification.
• TB testing and pre-employment drug screen; passes a criminal background check.
• Valid NM driver’s license and reliable automobile; proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Provide direct patient care including wound management, medication administration, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care.
• Document patient care and communicate with team members and physicians.
