Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to provide therapeutic massage to hospice patients across Essex, Passaic, Hudson, and Bergen counties in New Jersey. The mobile role supports an interdisciplinary team to improve quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.

The position requires an active LMT license, willingness to travel to patient homes, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid and current state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT).
• Experience with hospice or palliative care preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to patient homes and care settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage to hospice patients in various settings.
• Assess patients’ needs and conditions before treatment with attention to contraindications.
• Offer pain relief, relaxation, and stress reduction through massage techniques.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain documentation of services and patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about massage benefits and at-home care.
• Adhere to safety, ethics, and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families with empathy.
