Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to provide therapeutic massage to hospice patients across Essex, Passaic, Hudson, and Bergen counties in New Jersey. The role supports an interdisciplinary team, focusing on comfort, pain relief, and emotional well-being for patients with life-limiting illnesses.

The ideal candidate holds a current LMT license, is comfortable traveling to patient homes and care settings, and may have CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Valid and current state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT) required.
• Experience with therapeutic massage for seriously ill or hospice patients preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice and palliative care is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate patient-centered approach.
• Ability to travel to patient homes and various care settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage to hospice patients in homes, facilities, and hospitals.
• Assess patient needs and contraindications before treatment.
• Offer pain relief, relaxation, and reduced anxiety through massage.
• Collaborate with hospice care team (nurses, social workers, chaplains, doctors).
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about massage benefits and at-home care.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety protocols; participate in continuing education.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
