Job summary

AdvisaCare Home Health Care and Hospice in Port Huron is seeking experienced, motivated Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate personal care to our hospice clients in Port Huron and the surrounding areas. Our Troy office location will be your parent agency.

The successful candidate will have a passion for end-of-life care and ensuring patients spend their final days with comfort and dignity. Hospice experience is preferred, but training is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 6 Months of hospice experience preferred.
• Deliver compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families.
• Work in a team responsibly and independently.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice clients.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document care activities and progress.
