Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to provide home infusion services and comprehensive patient care in the New Port area and surrounding communities. You will supervise IV insertions, monitor therapies, record vitals, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure safe, timely treatment.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with IV certification, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college is required.
• Current state RN license required with minimum two years RN experience.
• IV certification and experience in central line care and management.
• Willing to travel to see patients at home or in other health care settings.
• Experience with medical terminology and basic MS Office.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits in accordance with RXs and protocols.
• Coordinate SOC and ongoing nursing visits with patients and agencies.
• Enter Therapy Admin reports and communicate with the team via email.
• Review nursing notes for accuracy including drugs, dosing and times.
• Maintain professional communication with families and field personnel.
• Insert IVs, monitor infusion sites and manage prescribed therapies.
• Teach patients and caregivers to perform Home Infusion confidently.
• Prepare clinical records and care plans for each patient.
