Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Per Diem Home Infusion Nurse to support patients in their homes or infusion suites across diverse settings. You will deliver IV therapies, assess patient conditions, and coordinate care with a clinician-led team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

The role emphasizes flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and compassionate patient interactions, with responsibilities spanning education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and operations.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts (unrestricted).
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• IV certification with central line care experience.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patient homes.
• Experience with patient documentation and care coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and discontinue IV therapies in patient homes or infusion suites.
• Insert and manage IV access including PICC lines, ports, and midlines.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to changes in condition.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples as ordered.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and vital signs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring.
• Coordinate visit scheduling and communicate outcomes with teams.
• Document all patient-related care and responses accurately.
