Job summary

Hanford Home Health is actively seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes in the Hayden area. The role offers flexibility with shifts posted in advance and responsibilities including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and ongoing Plan of Care adherence.

Ideal candidates hold an Idaho RN license, a year of nursing experience (home health preferred), CPR/BLS, a valid driver's license, and a clean background.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho State RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience; home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare professionals.
• Idaho State Food Worker’s Card (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Perform nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring within RN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects.
• Provide skilled interventions as ordered (including wound care).
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, pain, weight, and patient responses.
