Job summary

Hanford Home Health in Hayden, ID is seeking a Per Diem Home Health Aide (CNA) to provide assistive care to patients in private homes on an as-needed basis. The role offers day shift availability with 4-hour blocks and no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Idaho CNA certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistive, non-skilled care per the Plan of Care and Home Health Aide scope of practice.
• Assist with ADLs and IADLs.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake, and hydration.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Support safe mobility and delegated exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal assistance as outlined in the Plan of Care.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the agency-approved electronic health record system.
• Follow infection control, safety, emergency preparedness, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
