Job summary

Health First is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide designated personal care and support in patients’ homes under the supervision of an RN. The role emphasizes quality care, proper documentation, and patient safety.

Responsibilities include reporting changes promptly, maintaining records, and adhering to infection control policies while delivering compassionate service in diverse home environments. Per Diem schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a minimum of 40 hours Home Health Aide Certification program or AHCA Florida Competency Test.
• Successful completion of Level II background screening (fingerprinting).
• Current American Heart Association CPR card.
• Reliable transportation to fulfill assignments and work expectations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform HHA skills under RN supervision and directed by the supervisor.
• Report changes in patient or family condition promptly to the Supervisor.
• Maintain required attendance and complete assigned tasks.
• Follow infection control policies and guidelines during home visits.
• Attend required in-services or online e-learning.
