Job summary

Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene assistance, meal support, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in condition while following care plans and infection-control procedures. The role emphasizes safety, independence, and quality of life for patients.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Assists patient with activities of daily living, including bathing and hygiene.
• Prepares meals and provides assistance as needed.
• Performs light homemaking and other environmental services.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status.
• Follows care center procedures for infection prevention and safety.
• Assists with prescribed exercises as directed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
