Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Aide to provide in-home personal care and assist clients with daily living activities in Connecticut. This role supports meal preparation, errands, and transportation to appointments, while monitoring client condition and maintaining safety and confidentiality.

CT-specific requirements include a 75-hour state-approved training program, with preferred CPR certification and 6+ months of home care experience.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities.
• Monitor client condition and document vital signs with EVV.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality in the home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
