Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner in Hem/Onc in Brooklyn to provide comprehensive nursing care under a collaborative practice agreement. The NP will diagnose, prescribe, and coordinate care for inpatient and outpatient populations with physicians.

Responsibilities include planning care, monitoring outcomes, and contributing to research protocols while maintaining current clinical expertise and collaborating with the wider health care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NY registration as a Nurse Practitioner and RN.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• ANCC certification or equivalent specialty board certification is required.
• BLS certification is required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize care per protocols and pathways.
• Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care with a physician via collaboration.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per practice protocol and NYS law.
• Maintain current expertise and participate in professional development.
