Harborview Hand Therapy Clinic is seeking a Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist 2) on a per diem, day-shift basis in Seattle, WA. The role supports a trauma-based patient population within UW Medicine Rehabilitation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality hand therapy services.

The position requires graduation from an accredited OT program, successful completion of the AOTA certification examination, and WA OT licensure or probational certificate.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and successful completion of American Occupational Therapy Association certification examination.
• Licensed by the state of Washington as an Occupational Therapist or holds a valid probational certificate to practice occupational therapy.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe hand therapy for a trauma-based patient population.
• Progression of treatment goals and patient and family education.
• Assess and treat patient caseloads ranging from routine to complex problems and collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of care.
• Implement treatment programs including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, splinting and physical agents.
• Instruct and evaluate students as assigned; act as a resource within the rehab therapy department.
