Job summary

Carson Valley Health is seeking a Rehabilitation-Occupational Therapist (Certified Hand Therapist) for per diem assignments in Nevada. You will assess hand and upper-extremity conditions, develop individualized plans, and fabricate orthotics to support healing.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, Nevada licensure, NBCOT, and a CHT designation with at least 2 years of hand therapy experience. Per diem status offers an as-needed schedule and a 15% hourly rate premium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and Nevada licensure.
• NBCOT certification and CHT designation.
• Minimum 2 years of hand therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess hand and upper-extremity function and plan treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthotics and splints.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize care.
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
