Job summary
United Surgical Partners International is hiring a Per Diem GI Technician in Colorado. The role involves assisting surgeons with technical equipment during endoscopic procedures and responsibilities like cleaning/disinfecting instruments, patient flow management, and clerical tasks. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in a GI Lab. Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist with the operation of technical equipment during endoscopic procedures.
Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and other instruments.
Manage patient flow and prepare the room for procedures.
Skills
Experience in a GI Lab
BLS certification
Knowledge of endoscopic procedures
