Job summary

The GI Technician/Endoscopy role at United Surgical Partners International (USPI) operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with endoscopic procedures and manage procedure room readiness in Gainesville, GA.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining endoscopes, coordinating patient flow, stocking supplies, and handling clerical tasks. Prior GI Lab experience and current BLS are required, with preferred experience in ambulatory surgical centers or surgical hospitals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of endoscopic equipment under surgeon supervision.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare room for procedures; stock supplies.
• Order materials and handle various clerical tasks.
