Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Endoscopy Technician to support GI/endoscopy services, process endoscopic equipment, and assist with front office tasks. This role contributes to efficient patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant credential, at least 3 years in GI/endoscopy, strong customer service and communication skills, and current BLS certification. On-site work in California with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Position Summary

Incumbents perform basic medical, technical and administrative support services for assigned area. Incumbents process routine endoscopes, non-disposable endoscopic equipment, and may provide standby technical assistance for routine endoscopic procedures.
