Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. seeks a Per Diem General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Redlands, California.

This APP will provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care in collaboration with the surgical team in a hospital-affiliated outpatient setting. The position offers a flexible 40-hour workweek with a high-volume workload and emphasis on patient education and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active California NP or PA license and certification (or eligibility).
• Surgical or inpatient experience preferred; endoscopy experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for general surgery patients.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record per standards.
