Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an experienced per diem PA or NP to function as an outpatient float provider, covering gaps when primary APPs are out. Role emphasizes continuity of care across multiple specialties and not a fixed panel.

The position is per diem with no set schedule, initial onboarding with shadowing across specialties, and opportunities for longer coverage as needed. Outpatient support includes post-operative care and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Experienced PA or NP with outpatient clinical experience.
• Current NJ PA or NP license and active certifications.
• Proficient with EMR and general office software.

Responsibilities

• See post-operative and follow-up patients.
• Assist with patient calls, messages, and care coordination.
• Enter orders, manage results, and close care gaps.
• Ensure accurate orders and documentation workflows.
• Provide coverage to maintain handoffs when absent.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to keep clinics running.
