Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts is seeking a per diem RN for our Float Pool to cover shifts across multiple outpatient practices in the Pioneer Valley. This role offers autonomy within a supportive team, enabling you to work across diverse clinical settings while maintaining high nursing standards.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure; BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in good standing; BLS certification preferred.
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required; ambulatory/outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
