Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Northwest Ohio locations. The role involves dispensing medications, client education, and maintaining high service standards while adhering to pharmacy laws.

Hours are typically Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekends. Requires Ohio license, immunizer certification, and reliable transportation; Michigan license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current Pharmacist license in Ohio is required.
• Certified immunizer status is required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on delivering superior customer service.
• Ensures compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Administers immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
