Amedisys is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a per diem, weekdays schedule, offering flexible Home Health roles in the United States. Orientation pay ranges from $44.00 to $66.00 per hour and will convert to a per point pay method, with a wide range of benefits and support programs.

The role involves preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating adult speech, language, and swallowing disorders at patients' homes, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned to work.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with required graduate coursework and CFY pathway if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in speech pathology.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
