Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Vehicle Intake Associate for Atlantic Ambulance located in Livingston, NJ. The role requires working varied evening hours including weekends as required by the department.

Essential duties include receiving returning AAC vehicles, restocking medical supplies, inspecting equipment, and maintaining intake records. The role supports fleet readiness and collaborates with the Support Services team to ensure safe, clean, and ready vehicles at all times.

Responsibilities

• Receive AAC vehicles returning from the field and obtain end-of-shift vehicle report from off going field staff, including potential vehicle issues, equipment problems, and restocking needs.
• Restock medical supplies in vehicles and check equipment readiness; inspect for damage or maintenance issues.
• Maintain an accurate record of vehicle intake activities and report unresolved deficiencies to the Support Services Coordinator promptly.
• Assist with stockroom inventory, maintain par levels, and handle materials as needed.
• Perform vehicle detailing for AAC fleet vehicles, cleaning interiors and exteriors, upholstery, floors, medical cabinetry, etc.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area; follow safe handling procedures for cleaning products and universal precautions for exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Collaborate with the Support Services team to keep the AAC vehicle fleet and related equipment ready to meet operational needs.
• Interact professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and internal/external customers; foster constructive working relationships.
• Assist the Support Services Manager with other duties as assigned.
