Job summary

Corbins is currently seeking a dedicated Safety Technician to support major data center construction projects in Pecos, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction field, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and health standards.

This role involves supporting HSE initiatives, conducting jobsite inspections, and providing first aid as necessary. Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
• Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the project’s HSE initiatives and programs.
• Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure safe work practices.
• Participate in incident investigation and causal analysis processes.

Skills

Understanding of basic construction work practices

Good written and verbal communication

Ability to interact with both craft and supervisory employees

High level of integrity for reporting incidents

Ability to audit compliance in the workplace

Education

High school diploma or GED

3+ years of construction field/craft experience

OSHA 30 Hour for Construction

NFPA 70E trained

Current training in FA/CPR/AED
