Nox Group is looking for a Safety Technician to join our team in Pecos, Texas. This role requires supporting health and safety initiatives on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction safety and the drive to uphold high standards.

Responsibilities include conducting job site inspections, assisting in risk evaluations, and maintaining compliance with HSE plans. Candidates should have a high school diploma, field experience, and certifications like OSHA 30 Hour.

This position entails a mix of office and field work, ensuring a safe construction environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete safety-related tasks with little direction.
• Should understand HSE plans and standards.
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Support project’s HSE initiatives and programs.
• Conduct jobsite inspections.
• Assist in planning and evaluation of risk.

Skills

Understanding of basic construction work practices

Good written and verbal communication

Ability to interact with craft and supervisory employees

High level of integrity

Ability to audit compliance

Education

High school diploma or GED

3+ years of construction field/craft experience

OSHA 30 Hour for Construction, STS-C, or NCCER Field Safety

Current training in FA/CPR/AED
