A leading fertility care provider is seeking a Per Diem Fertility Circulating RN in Chicago, IL. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care in the surgical suite, adhering to high safety standards, and mentoring new staff. Ideal candidates should have an ADN or BSN, an active Illinois RN license, and experience as a Circulating Nurse. With a competitive hourly rate ranging from $39 to $50, this position offers flexibility and an opportunity to engage in impactful patient care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR required.
• Experience with surgical care and patient monitoring.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in the EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and perform preoperative assessments.
• Provide direct patient care during surgical phases in the surgical suite.
• Communicate post-operative instructions effectively.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment

Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Education

Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor of Science)

Active RN license issued by the Illinois State Board of Nursing

Current BLS and ACLS certifications
