Job summary

Aurora Behavioral Health System is seeking experienced, credentialed Art, Recreational, and Music Therapists to join our team on a Per Diem/As-Needed basis in Glendale, AZ. We offer inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents and adults facing various psychiatric conditions and chemical dependencies.

The Adjunctive Therapist will develop, implement, and lead expressive therapy groups, collaborate with the treatment team, and support recovery-focused goals.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited organization in expressive/recreational therapy (e.g., MT-BC, CTRS, ATR).
• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, or a license-eligible field (e.g., LPC, LCSW).
• Fingerprint clearance and being 21+ years old; CPR and Therapeutic Options certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and implement adjunctive therapy groups for adolescents and adults.
• Provide therapeutic interventions during daily activities aligned with growth and development.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support treatment plans.
