Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Madison is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) to support housekeeping in a hospital setting in Madison, Wisconsin. The Per Diem/PRN position offers flexible days/afternoons with compensation of $19 per hour.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across patient rooms, nurse stations, lounges, and common areas, while upholding safety and infection-control standards to ensure a comfortable patient environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Previous housekeeping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in patient rooms, offices, nurse stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators and lobby areas.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks per established schedules and procedures.
• Clean furnishings, floors and equipment with appropriate cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent disease spread.
• Dust window sills, blinds, floors and furniture; empty trash; arrange furniture and equipment neatly.
• Make beds with clean linen and replenish supplies as needed.
